From the time they acquired the ling Ying school in 2004, Nancy and Billy have made fundraising for charity an important part of their program. Go to www.JingYing.org for a list of donations and directions.
The Chesapeake Bayhawks Score a Goal for SPAN
The Chesapeake Bayhawks, Smartlink, and Driven have partnered in having a food drive to benefit SPAN , a local emergency assistance network that provides food and financial assistance to qualified individuals and families; helping them through critical or emergency situations in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
All three businesses are owned by Annapolis native, Brendan Kelly, who believes in being involved in the community and giving back to the causes that are near and dear to his family’s and employees’ hearts. The companies donate tremendously to both local and national organizations all year round.
“At Smartlink we take pride in giving back to the community, not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year,” said Kelly. “SPAN provides substantial support to those in need and we are happy to play a part in helping them towards their mission.”
The three companies delivered collected items from the food drive to SPAN’s Severna Park location on Wednesday, November 27th, before the Thanksgiving holiday.
